The Thin Edge Commissioning Fund (TECF) fund is designed to help support emerging composers through the commissioning of new works. The idea for TECF grew out of a desire to give audience members the opportunity to become involved in contemporary music from its inception to first performance, creating connections between composer, performer and listener along the way.
No amount is too small! If you choose to contribute to the commissioning of a new work you will be listed as a contributor in any concert programs on which the work appears as well as on the commissioning fund page of our website. You will also be invited to a pre-concert talk and dress rehearsal of the work prior to the premiere performance.
